How Worn For You works
Worn For You is a UK marketplace for worn socks, underwear and leggings, built alongside our guides. This page sets out exactly what happens when you buy or sell here.
Buying
Step 1
Browse moderated listings
Every listing in the shop has been reviewed by a Worn For You moderator before going live. Sellers set their own prices, wear time and condition details.
Step 2
Check the detail, not just the photo
Listings carry size, material, style and how many days the item was worn. If something is missing, that is a reason to wait rather than guess.
Step 3
Buy on site, not off it
Anything that happens away from Worn For You is outside our reach. Keep the conversation and the payment here so there is a record if something goes wrong.
Selling
Step 1
Create an account and pass the checks
You need to be 18 or over and complete our identity check. Nothing you list can go public until that check is approved.
Step 2
Write the listing and add photos
Photos are resized and stripped of camera and location metadata in your browser before they ever reach us. Drafts stay private while you work on them.
Step 3
Submit for moderation
A moderator reviews the listing and either publishes it or sends it back with a written reason. Every decision is recorded against the listing.
Payment and delivery
Payment is taken securely on-site at checkout. The seller keeps 75% of the item price and 25% is the Worn For You platform fee. Every order includes tracked UK delivery for £5.99, sent in plain, unbranded packaging with a neutral sender address — the seller never sees your details beyond what is needed to post the item, and the parcel never carries our name. After a completed order, the buyer can leave a star rating and a review that appears on the seller's profile.
