Step 1 — Verification

Sign up, choose a public display name and complete the required 18+ age check — a quick online step. You must be 18 or over and your seller status must be approved before a listing can go live. You also connect a payout account so earnings can reach your bank. Your legal identity is kept separate from your public profile.

Step 2 — Legal & hygiene basics

Selling used underwear between consenting adults is legal in the UK. Sellers should wash hands before packaging, seal items in a clean inner bag, and never ship items with visible bodily fluids beyond what the buyer explicitly requested. Common sense, but worth stating.

Step 3 — Photography

Three photos: flat lay, worn (framed appropriately — no face required), and a close-up showing material and detail. Natural window light, plain background. Full workflow in the photography guide.

Allow for Worn For You's 25% commission when setting your price: you keep 75% of the item price. On a £40 sale you keep £30; on a £60 sale you keep £45. There is no monthly seller subscription or listing fee.

Step 5 — Packaging & shipping

Clean, sealed inner bag. Wrap in tissue for presentation if you like. Plain unmarked poly-mailer or padded envelope. Print the pre-paid Royal Mail Tracked 48 label from your account and post within 24–48 hours — tracking is added automatically.

Step 6 — Payouts

Buyers pay securely on-site at checkout. The 25% commission is deducted automatically and your 75% share is transferred to your bank on a 7-day rolling schedule after you dispatch with the pre-paid tracked label. The schedule covers discreet tracked delivery and buyer receipt. Dispatch within 48 hours — an undispatched order is cancelled and the buyer refunded, so the 7 days only starts once the parcel is on its way. The buyer's £5.99 delivery fee covers the pre-paid tracked label you print at dispatch — you never pay postage yourself.

Step 7 — Build repeat buyers

Accurate listings, prompt tracked dispatch and good on-platform communication help earn reviews and repeat custom. Keep phone numbers, social handles and off-site payment details out of listings and messages so there is a clear record if support is needed. Recurring subscriptions are not currently offered.
