From profile to dispatch
How selling works
Step 1
Create your seller profile
Choose a public display name, add an optional region and bio, and keep your legal identity separate from what buyers see.
Step 2
Complete the two seller checks
First, a one-minute 18+ check with our verification partner, Didit — this is what lets your listings go live. Second, payout setup with Stripe, which confirms your bank details so your 75% reaches you. Two separate partners: one keeps the site adults-only, the other handles your money. We never see your documents or your bank details.
Step 3
Prepare your listings
Add clear photographs, the item details, an honest account of wear time and activity, your price, and realistic dispatch information.
Step 4
Submit for moderation
A moderator checks every listing against our content rules. It is either published or returned with a reason and can be corrected and resubmitted.
Step 5
Receive and manage an order
An order reserves the item and opens a private message thread. Keep arrangements on Worn For You so there is a record if support is needed.
Step 6
Pack and dispatch discreetly
Seal the item inside an inner bag, use plain outer packaging and send it with a tracked UK service within the dispatch time shown on your listing.
What we ask of sellers
- You are 18 or over and can prove it.
- You pass our identity check before any listing of yours goes live.
- Your listings are your own items, described honestly.
- You keep legal names, addresses and documents off public listings — we store those separately and never show them.
Make your first listings count
Photograph the actual item
Use bright natural light and include a flat view, a detail view and, where appropriate, a worn view that stays within our content rules.
Be specific, not exaggerated
State the brand, size, material, condition, wear time and activity. Accurate detail helps the right buyer find the item and reduces disputes.
Build trust visibly
Dispatch when promised, reply through the order conversation and earn reviews. Buyers can see a seller's history on their public profile.
Do not share phone numbers, social handles or off-site payment details. Keeping orders and messages on the platform gives both sides a clear record and lets us act on reports.
How we protect your privacy
Photo metadata removed
Photos are resized and stripped of camera and GPS metadata in your browser before upload, so your location never leaves your device.
Private details kept private
Legal name, date of birth, address and identity documents are stored apart from your public profile and are only visible to you and our staff.
You choose what is public
Your public profile shows only a display name, optional region and bio. You can keep your profile hidden entirely.
Payments and payouts
Buyers pay securely on-site at checkout. When an item sells, 75% of the item price is yours — the 25% platform commission is deducted automatically — and your share is paid to your bank account through your connected payout account. The buyer also pays a £5.99 tracked delivery fee, which stays with the platform and covers the pre-paid label you print at dispatch. Our pricing guide covers what UK sellers realistically charge.
You never pay for postage yourself and your home address never appears on the parcel — the label's return address is our neutral fulfilment address.
